Wineries

The Great Southern Region plays host to one of the largest wine regions in Australia. The region stretches from the Frankland River through Mount Barker, to Denmark and west to Porongurup.

The Great Southern region is known for its’ variety of flavoursome vino's and cooler climate wines with zesty Sauvignon Blancs, soft Pinot's, Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignons. With so many to sample, reserve a day for a wine tour or visit a selection of wineries in your travels.

We have done the hard work for you and below you'll find a list of our hand pick favourite wineries - those that are well known, the intimate ones and the treasures off a beaten gravel track.  Always elect a designated driver and drink responsibly.
