The Albany Convict Gaol Museum and Patrick Taylor Cottage Museum provide exceptional settings for memorable and curriculum-aligned school excursions. Excursions can be tailored to suit a range of year levels and learning outcomes and may be undertaken as either self-guided visits or guided tours.

Excursion Fees

Students: $5.00 per student. An invoice will be issued based on the number of students attending on the day.

Teachers and parent helpers: Free of charge.

Guided tours: Operated by a private contractor on behalf of the Albany Historical Society. A fee of $50.00 per tour group will be charged and invoiced accordingly.
We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability and to allow us to tailor the experience to your group’s educational needs.
