The Stirling Ranges are a beautiful mountain range known for its dramatic landscapes, rugged peaks and diverse plant and animal life. The highest peak in the range is Bluff Knoll, which stands at 1,095 meters (3,594 feet) above sea level and is a popular spot for hiking and sightseeing.

The Stirling Ranges also hold significance as a biodiversity hotspot, with a rich variety of endemic species, including several types of wildflowers, which makes it a fantastic location for nature lovers, especially during the spring bloom.

The Aboriginal name for the range, Koi Kyenunu-ruff, meaning ‘mist rolling around the mountains’ is a frequently seen occurrence.
